Ever heard a story like this.... In October 2007, in Colindale some workers working at the Centre for Infections had been disposing of samples of the bacteria when some of the equipment fell to the floor. According to the report of the Old Bailey, up to a billion infectious doses of the 0157 strain spilled onto the floor at the agency when a trolley carrying the bio hazardous waste dropped on the floor. The dangerous material got spilled and the fear of workers getting ill from the bacteria, loomed over head.
