Ever heard a story like this.... On THURSDAY, MAY 13, 2010, An estimated 350,000 gallons of jet fuel that leaked from storage containers into the ground at Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield. The bulk of the 3.5-acre plume of jet fuel that sits beneath the airfield has remained there since it was first discovered in 2006, but fuel that has mixed and drifted with ground water has traveled about 2,200 feet under a runway and a nearby building. Unfortunately, we hear stories like this all the time. When we get a call like this, we jump into action to resolve it immediately.
